Sunday School (all ages) - Sunday morning 9:15 AM

 

 

 

From the cradle to adult life our Sunday school classes seek to teach participants about who God is as he has revealed himself in the Bible as well as how we are to relate to him and to each other.

Class divisions are as follows:

• Cradle (under age 2)
• Nursery (ages 2-3)
• Beginners (ages 4-5)
• Primaries (grades 1-3)
• Juniors (grades 4, 5)
• Junior High (grades 6-8)
• Senior High (grades 9-12)
• Adult Bible Class (high school graduates and up)

 

Children’s’ ministries during Sunday morning worship

 

 

 

 

Cradle – children under age 2 can be cared for by the cradle helpers as a ministry to parents during the worship service.

Nursery – ages 2-3, these children are dismissed during the hymn singing for a similar assistance to parents and also to have time for Bible stories, singing, playing and snack.

Junior Church – for children ages 4-6, these children are dismissed just prior to the start of the sermon to the Ed. Wing to learn Bible memory, catechism questions, enjoy a snack and have an activity time.

 

Home Fellowships

 

 

Home Fellowships are groups of about 8-12 CBC members or regular attendees, meeting bi-weekly in a host home for fellowship, mutual encouragement, prayer and praise, and a discussion time focused on applying God’s word to their daily lives. Groups typically meet for about 1.5 hours, followed by an informal refreshment or meal time. Meeting times are designed to foster meaningful Christian friendships. Wednesday Night Prayer Groups – Wednesday 7:30PM

 

 

 

It has been called the most important meeting of the church. Each week we set this time aside to pray together for each other and the ministries at CBC. Prayer groups are held at the church and regionally in people’s homes. Check the bulletin for current host homes and locations.

 

Saturday Morning Men’s Prayer – Saturday 8:00AM

 

 

 

 

Each week men gather for this time seeking to encourage one another through prayer, fellowship and of course, bagels and coffee.

 

Junior High Youth Group (grades 6-8)

 

 

 

 

This ministry seeks to provide a positive environment where junior high kids can come and have fun, grow friendships, and learn more about who God is and what it means to know him and follow him.

 

Senior High Youth Group (grades 9-12)

 

 

 

Our youth group exists to equip young men and women with a knowledge of the Bible that is living and practical. Through committed, loving leaders we seek to shape character as well as conduct. And through Bible studies, retreats, and outreach these students learn how to make a positive impact on the world around them for good and for the gospel as they prepare to go from high school to college and/or the work force.
